The mission:Here is my list, in no particular order except the order I thought of them in. Some of my goals are short term and easily achieved (58. Buy a Lotto ticket); others will take longer (17. Get new Buzz band going). Some are free and easy to enjoy (33. Jump in a puddle); others will cost a fair bit (3. Buy my own home!). A few are already part of my regular routine that I would like to continue (1. Read at least one book per month); others are new things I want to try (50. Ride in a hot air balloon).
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

I love your list! It looks like you have alot of challanges ahead of you! Thanks for the idea!! :o]
thanks for dropping by my own list, and giving encouragement. it is great to see other 101/1001'ers supporting each other.
i like the combination of short, long, free and expensive types of goals. as you had said before, this is like The Bucket List except that life goes on after 1001 days. :D good luck on working through your list. i know that doing my tasks has benefited me more than what is written down.
i like the postcrossing task. hope you'd find it as enjoyable as i do. also, that one sentence website is very cool. and hot air ballooning sounds so scarily exciting. have a great time!
